Individual Therapy
Real healing and growth can only happen in the context of safety. As your therapist, I will provide a safe environment through warmth, attunement, curiosity, understanding, humor and compassion. I listen closely to learn what works for you and what helps you feel safe and supported as we get to know each other and work together in ways that are helpful to you.

In that safe relationship, you can gain a deeper understanding and perspective about parts of your experience that previously felt confusing or impossible to make sense of or do anything about. I will help you learn how to access and strengthen states of mind that already exist inside you but might be hidden most of the time, like mindfulness, clarity, insight and self compassion.You will learn practical skills to use in your daily life to calm strong emotions, regain perspective on what is needed in stressful moments, be true to yourself, and to connect with others in a grounded and healthy way.
In therapy, we can help release and transform trauma and disturbing memories that may have been stored in the body for years, leaving you feeling lighter, like a heavy weight has been lifted from your shoulders. All the energy that had been channeled into just surviving and struggling with yourself and others can be reclaimed to help you transform your life, experiencing more peace, clarity, connection, joy and meaning.
